The Evolved Feminist

Welcome to the Evolved Feminist

These are the stories of women who go over and beyond to sow love and respect, to protect happiness and togetherness and who are committed to building a happy and harmonious society.

These are the stories of women making informed choices to build happiness for themselves and harmony in their families, communities and society. It is the story of an architect, a doctor who has placed her career on hold to raise her children. It is the story of a single mom who juggles two jobs to provide for her children, but also takes a day off to spend time with them, to teach them what it is to be a good man, and to be a good woman in society.

It is the story of the matriarch who holds her community together. It is the story of a high-end corporate executive who, despite all her career successes, goes over and beyond to bring happiness to her home. It is the story of a mother who refuses to give up on her son even when the rest of society sees nothing good in him.  It is the story of millions of women, who are making informed choices not out of weakness but out of selflessness to build a better society for generations to come. Selflessness is not a weakness and must never be.

I’ve taken a pledge that is founded on gratitude to the feminist movement and is guided by an uncompromising and unwavering desire for happiness and harmony in society.

What informed choices have you made to pursue happiness and foster harmony? Read the stories of other women, take the pledge or tell us your story of being an Evolved Feminist.

The Pledge of an Evolved Feminist

The Pledge of an Evolved Feminist is a personalisation of the ‘The Memorandum of an Evolved Feminist’. In my journey, I questioned, I challenged and sometimes disagreed with basic tenets of the feminist movement. I thought I failed but indeed it was an amazing personal evolution.
