Thanks for sharing Mbong. In Zimbabwe I became very aware of racism from the time I started nursery. I might not have known the word but discrimination was rife. For me racism has always been about protecting the power. Trying to get a seat on the table is no longer enough. We must occupy positions of power to re-write the structures that are actively working against black people.
