Provoking real conversations on the Africa we want, feminism and the quest for happiness and harmony in our world

From The Diary of an Evolving Feminist, her fervent letters to Africa in Je m’appelle Amazing Africa, to her new show, Hello Mr. President, this is a space where Mbong Akiy Fokwa Tsafack's writing and creative concepts come to life.

Memoradum of a failed feminist

Hello Mr. President is a show on YouTube that aims to foster interaction with meaningful and respectful engagement between African leaders and millions of Africans who wish to contribute to defining a better and prosperous future for Africa. The new project offers a fresh perspective on researched African topics, and news developments while including the voice of African experts.

The Diary of an Evolving Feminist  is a project born in 2019 after yearning to add her voice to an overly saturated feminist conversation that said: we demand equality; we don’t need men and the world would be a better place without men. While the media assumes all women should aspire to this trope, Mbong seeks to support the empowerment of women – that does not cancel men out of a sustainable future in families, communities and nations. The Diary of an Evolving Feminist speaks to authentic women’s voices on how feminism and the quest for equality with men have affected women’s quality of life and overall happiness. Here Mbong candidly shares the intricate nuances of her take on modern-day feminism and how we can all be more authentic to ourselves while taking advantage of the opportunities that the feminist movement has opened up.

Coupled with The Diary of an Evolving Feminist is a collection of testimonies from everyday women who seek to make the best contribution to society while being happy called The Evolved Feminist. These are real stories from women who could be your sister, wife, friend, mom, etc., who do not necessarily fit the feminist mould we see in the media or television.

Je M’appelle Amazing Africa celebrates the uniqueness found in Africa from a benchmark of African values, unity, solidarity, love togetherness and resilience. It’s a project for Africans who seek to celebrate their Africanness on African terms.

Mbong’s Memoirs is a personal space that allows Mbong to express issues outside of feminism and Africa. Here, she shares her experiences and perspective on her journey as a wife, sister, daughter, mother and friend.

Presenting an alternative narrative for women and celebrating Africa are subjects Mbong is passionate about and she invites like-minded women and Africans to share in the conversation.
